Formally Announcing The Terry Family Reunion in August 13-15, 2010!

Please use this blog to help us to communicate and plan this event. We look forward to hearing from each of you. It would be very helpful if you would sign up as a follower of the blog - then you will be alerted of info that is posted on the blog and will help to keep you informed. Anyone can make comments on postings - this is how we can form dialog from all the different places we live etc to plan the reunion.

Take a look back at the Terry Family - Louise has provided this information to help us begin to trace back to the Terry Kids.

If you look at the picture of the "Terry kids", here are the names.

Back row Arlo (Snow) - 3 kids, Eloise, Carol and Larry.

Nellie (Fondroy) - 4 kids: Harriet Nancy, died in infancy. Eleanor, 2 kids, Jeffrey and Lisa.

Louise, 2 kids, Steven and Nancy and Leo Fred, 3 kids, Tami, Stephanie and Mollie.

David - 1 daughter, Mary Ann. I'm not sure about her kids.

Garnet (Johnson) - 4 kids, Norma Jean Weber, 4 kids, Cindy, Charles, Gregory, and Nancy. Don Johnson, 2 kids, Kristen and Meda Jo. Jim Johnson, 4 kids, Glenda, Clifford, Rob and Janice, and Patty - died as a child.

Harriet (Lewis) - no children.

Front row - Homer, no children.

Dick - 2 children, Chris, deceased, and Kathy. I'm not sure about their kids. I think Kathy has 2 boys and I think Chris had a girl and a boy.

Clair - 1 son, Steven. I'm not sure about kids.

Howard - 1 son, Allan. I think he was married but don't know anything about him.

Dale - died young but had 1 son "Jimmy Dale" pictured. He is married and has some kids but that's all I know.

Terry Family Reunion to be held August 13-15, 2010 Spirit Lake and Albert City, IA

Greetings all the members of the Terry Family Reunion! Announcing Family Reunion plans for August 13-15, 2010! The dates have been chosen around the annual Albert City Thresherman's Event, http://www.albertcitythreshermen.com/, for a day of history in AC.

We are in very early planning stages and we welcome ideas and submission of names of people with contact information to be included in planning through e-news, etc. Our plans are to hold the reunion in Spirit Lake, IA near Lynn and Louise's home where all can enjoy the Lakes. We would travel to AC the day of the Thresherman's in caravan and hope to hold a dinner that evening in AC or near according to what will be available.

We are currently working on this blog to have it be a tool to share information. Email addresses to contact at this time with contact information for your children and those who should be invited and begin planning are : Lisa Mack ( ealawhead@aol.com) and Greg Mooch Weber ( gregw@lasersupply.com)

Our current plan is to post the scheduled meals where we hope to eat together to provide as much opportunity as possible to reaquaint, then we will sign up groups of people to sponsor the event. Such as Don and Lisa Mack might sponsor the keg to open things off Friday etc. As we are able to post our final schedule we will welcome emails or posts to the comment section of the blog to sign up for what you might like to give.

Ideas are WELCOME! Games, Tshirts, Movies, Pictures, Stories, send them on we want to plan a very fun event. We also hope to make it as reasonably priced as possible so we will be working to bring together time sharing events over great food, refreshing cocktails, and hot coffee!
